Meet Our
Pastor Charles J. Ivy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 13. He was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Waukegan, Illinois, where his uncle, Rev. Bruce Ivy, served as pastor. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Ivy united with Shiloh Baptist Church of Waukegan in June 1974 under the late Rev. J. N. Lightfoot.
MINISTER SHAWN HOLMES
Shawn Holmes is the Assistant to the Pastor and currently serves as the Assistant General Superintendent of the Sunday School Department and Chairman of Men’s Ministry. He has been active at Shiloh for over 10 years. Professionally, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and is studying Reformed Theology and Expository Preaching. His major focuses include the development of preachers and teachers, the Board of Christian Education, and assisting with IT and the Media Ministry.
Minister Holmes favorite scripture is the 27th Psalm. He credits his inspiration to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Scripture, and all those who love God and love to serve Him and others.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, eating, and fellowshipping with his wife, Angela, and son Kyle.
